Randolph Parker
Randolph Parkers’ formal art education came from Mt. Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, the Banff Centre in Alberta and York University in Ontario. He studied under the direction of such eminent instructors as David Silverberg, Takao Tanabe, Paul Sloggett and Ken Carpenter. From his Salt Spring Island studio in British Columbia he creates panoramic vistas inspired by the many diverse regions of Canada. Recently a book was published on his work titled “ Beyond the Brush “ His life and work have been featured in both Boulevard and Aqua magazines. He is well represented in numerous corporate collections including Great West Life Insurance Co., Wawanesa Insurance, Trimark Investment Inc., Canadian National Railway, Canderal Corporation, Government of Ontario, Ministry of Natural Resources, Halter Collection, Price Waterhouse, R.B.C. Dominion Securities, Suncor, and Pen Growth Management.
