  Artist Statement for "Rhythms" Exhibition

"In my early days, and yes, I did come of age in the '60's, the term "changes" was almost a mantra, as in "I'm going through changes, man". What I could only suspect at that time was that my life to follow would continue to be a series of changes, some dramatic, others less so.

Those early, heady days passed into time but the changes kept on coming, year after year and continue to do so to this day.

A series of changes, overtime, becomes a rhythm, a Rhythm of Life.

Through the metaphor of the Rhythms of the Dance I have tried to make these photographs a visual observation of the Rhythms of Life, or to be more accurate,  the Rhythms of Existence.

Existence itself has many different rhythms, some quite obvious, others not so, but they are always there to be seen, and felt, if one is so inclined to follow that direction."

The works in "Rhythms" will be made in 3 different sizes in editions of 7 for each. The prices for the images will increase incrementally for each print sold.
